lyrics
when you arrived
i first saw your hands
structured like mine
and i instantly recognized and saw myself in you
your mother should have cursed you !
how long and hard you had to come
since yesterday you knock at the door
the pain she felt in this cold chamber
is nothing in front of the bliss in which she swim
since you came to this world
but the veil of the sounds before my eyes
has masked a long time the beauty of your coming
I was here and elsewhere
but i couldn't go nowhere
I had to give birth to things
that reign inside my head
my dear daughter i gotta apologize
it took me a long time to realise that you where there
and that my blood runs through your veins
a feeling that now drives me insane
some spurts of bliss invade my brain
I shall embrace the God who placed you on my way
I'm sorry
I was guilty of being blind
but i'm no more
but it seems that nothing's destined to last forever
my love was not strong enough
for this, i'm the betrayer
and for this,..
ho dear daughter can you tell her
that i'm so sorry
some eyes took me away, i couldn't fight
And i'm so sorry..... to be gone away !!!!!
No one can compete, you are my sun goddess
your smile
your eyes
your way to give your inconditionnal love
I will always thank your mum
for pushing me out of the limit
of my own acceptance
know that, cause i ignore how much time is left before i go
for you my love is endless
so you're welcome on earth
I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive
I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer
Scalding metalcore from Spain, “Where the Waves Are Born” swings from clean to growled vocals over blindingly intricate fretwork. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 19, 2023
The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
