lyrics
innocence of men, now dead and gone
lying in the graveyard of time
innocence of men now dead and gone
here in this world, lost and torn
my soul now dives in the blooded wine
that world now dives in the blooded wine
in narrow visions of the future, you're acting like gods
in scorn of all living beings
thrive as you can, thrive in the short time you have
before the cosmic storm, annihilate you !!!!!!!
innocence of men, now dead and gone
lying in the graveyard of time
innocence of men now dead and gone
here in this world, lost and torn
my soul now dives in the blooded wine
that world now dives in the blooded wine
profits only ! written on the walls of institutions
this code of life imposed everywhere, leading us to doom,
That's all want leaders unable to see beyond their electoral mandate
bucks they breathe as they breathe air !!!!!
blind to scars we make to earth
and deaf to the voice of reason
the everyday steamroller strangles a little more rampant nature
depopulated of its most legitimate inhabitants,
sacrified on the altar of economic growth !!!
innocence of men,
now dead and gone
my soul is down, drowned down in that blooded wine
with all others, down, dronwed down in that blooded wine
I dig this album so much, definitely a keeper. Subtly and masterfully mixing death metal subgenres, backed with an over the top production. They're true professionals. Can't wait for their next release! doive
I never cared about symphonic metal at all. I do very much care about folk as well as progressive metal, and so I couldn't resist after reading the third exceptional AMG review for Wilderun in a row. 'Sleep...' has been on my radar for quite some time, being graced by one of the most beckoning cover arts I have ever seen. The band more than lives up to its reputation, composing great musical pieces from start to finish. I absolutely love the multitude of influences being put together here. David Fischer
The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
Scalding metalcore from Spain, “Where the Waves Are Born” swings from clean to growled vocals over blindingly intricate fretwork. Bandcamp New & Notable Mar 19, 2023
